I am a physician with a particular interest in applications at the intersection of medicine and technology, currently an Assistant Professor in neuro-oncology at University of California, San Francisco. My previous position was as a K12 grant-funded neuro-oncology research fellow at DFCI/BWH/MGH. My work spans basic, translational, and clinical sciences, specifically investigating the use of AI algorithms for brain tumor response assessment, the electrophysiology of brain tumors, and the application of neuromodulatory techniques as novel brain tumor therapeutics.My pursuits are shaped by my undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, where I participated in research in both genetics and biomedical engineering laboratories, as well as in my role as a software developer prior to medical school. These experiences helped inform my decision to pursue neurology, which employs unique and fulfilling types of problem solving. While in neurology training in Los Angeles, I developed a passion for neuro-oncology and completed my clinical fellowship in this field at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute / Brigham and Women's Hospital / Massachusetts General Hospital program in 2022.
