Developed strategy for Command-wide training program process in order to determine gaps in operational task training and execution for each Directorate’s mission areas. Provided a system for tracking mission-related training and certification using existing system. The benefits of this training program process include: identifying linkages between shortfalls and mission accomplishment; providing continuity in case of personnel loss or transfer; aiding in writing service member or civilian performance reports; and providing data to support YTB development.Tasks include publishing and annually reviewing the governing directive for US Strategic Command’s Training Program. Responsible for establishing and publishing a standard format for USSTRATCOM training plans. Providing assistance to Directorates and Components in establishing or revising their training plans and programs to include tasks, measures of effectiveness, certification requirements, sustainment training, and recertification requirements for all assigned personnel. Responsible for developing and maintaining a repository of all training plans used in the command. Responsible for preparing Yearly Training Briefs for the HQ J7 Director and for the Commander, US Strategic Command.

Supervise and implement training programs designed to improve Battalion readiness. Provide expert and timely advice to the Battalion Staff and Local First Responders, on all matters pertaining to Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) operations. Prepare all training directives and operations including yearly training programs, circulars, and other memoranda to ensure compliance with higher headquarters. Review and compile all functional areas of the Unit Status Report for five subordinate organizations; assist subordinate units in management of training ammunition; screen service school applications and request for personnel orders for 435 members. Directly supervise 14 junior Non-Commissioned Officers.

Enlisted advisor on Army planning, operations, training, mobilization, integration, Homeland Defense and anti-terrorism; Senior Enlisted advisor to the Joint Crisis Action Team (JCAT) for Nebraska National Guard Forces support for domestic and federal missions; Assisted in developing a rapid mobilization model for the Army National Guard and NORTHCOM; Subject matter expert on Title 32 transition to Title 10; Assisted in deliberate planning process to support Commander, USSTRATCOM OPLAN 8044; Planned and executed 2 Global Lighting/Storm/Thunder exercise over the past 6 years. Serves as the principal Battle NCO within the Joint Operations Center (JOC); Integral in developing plans supporting the Civil Support Team (CST), CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear or High-Yield Explosive) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERF-P) and the state Counter Drug programs; served as Observer Controller for classified SECDEF programs measuring vulnerabilities of state and federal assets in support of national missions.

Served on the 101st ABN DIV Stability Transition Team, (STT) as the senior enlisted mentor to the 201st Corp ANA G4 section on all logistical and enlisted matters. Provided direct mentorship to the 201st Corp (ANA) G4 section on all operational and garrison aspects of logistical matters. Directed and supervised the MDMP/Mission Analyzes process for Corp’s G4 section in support of combat operations during the 2010/2011 operational period. Scrubbed and provided information and advice on the ANA Tashkil (Property Book). Through mentorship, ensured all Logistical transactions were conducted in accordance with all Logistical policies and Decree’s. Ensured all basic policies and producers applying to accounting for military material were implemented and tracked IAW all ANA/MoD Decree’s. Provided guidance and supervised the handling, accounting, and storage of ammunition throughout the 201st Corp. Completed the monthly LOGSTAT for CJ4 to track ANA monthly equipment status. Mentored and guided the Corp G4 Sergeants Major through the development of enlisted education programs and the initiation of an NCODP program

Served as the senior NCO on all unit matters; directly responsible for planning and executing individual and collective training for 22 Full Time personnel. Executed and maintained over site on an organizational budget of over $ 250,000. Developed and provided guidance during numerous WMD exercises and real world events that involved joint cooperation with the CIA, Federal and Local Responders. Developed and provided Modeling capabilities and analysis with Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC) program, to all response agencies during numerous WMD events. Gathered, analyzed and provided advice on possible contaminants throughout the Area of Responsibility (AOR) for all real world events and exercises. Maintained proficiency in various communication systems including: TACSAT, INMARSAT, Ku band V-SAT, Harris RT-1796 / AN/PRC-117, Iridium 9505 Satellite Phone, and Tandenberg VTC.

Responsible for overseeing all training within a Brigade size organization; Developed a quarterly training brief where subordinate commanders’ outlined the current state of their organizations and any shortfalls which may exist; responsible for the preparation of 23 subordinate organization unit readiness reports spanning training, logistics, maintenance and personnel readiness; Managed and executed organizations training budget which exceeded $500,000 annually; Managed over $10 million dollars of equipment with 100% accountability; Developed and implemented an Individual to Collective task Training Crosswalk matrix for all sections within the Brigade to track sectional training.
