Some of my work included managing the inspection and maintenance of the highly controversial Straits of Mackinaw crossing. I was directly responsible for insuring that Enbridge's highest consequence asset remained fit for service.Additional I managed a variety of projects including auxiliary piping replacement, shallow and exposed pipe mitigation, and pipeline integrity digs. These projects combined with operations work including open system pipe modifications, operational risk analysis, and incident investigations give me a very complete and rich background in oil and gas pipelines. Of everything I've done in my career, I am most proud of the work that I did to help identify, locate, and eliminate natural gas pipeline-sewer pipe cross-bores in Minnesota. This worked unquestionably saved lives, for which there is no greater satisfaction.
