As a Videographer on both Thomson and Fred Olsen cruise lines my role required me to film, edit, produce and sell the DVD of the cruise within a week time frame. This role required me to go on tours with the passengers to each location we visited during the cruise. My job was to then create a sequence that adequately represented the places and sights they had seen each day. This role required me to go on tours with the passengers to each location we visited during the cruise. My job was to then create a sequence that adequately represented the places and sights they had seen each day. This enabled me to use my own initiative and skills to choose both the most aesthetically pleasing locations to film whilst enhancing my technique and creativity to create a visual story of their cruise. During this time I developed a greater knowledge of the media, whilst enhancing my skills with both production and postproduction under a tight schedule with a short timeframe. Show less
