The Engineering Specialist is responsible for creating electronic designs for pipelines facilities; Researching information for system upgrades; Previewing of construction projects; Creating as-built drawings and mapping of facilities, creating and populating spreadsheets and databases.

responsible for overseeing, directing, and providing technical assistance in order to develop and maintain a knowledgeable workforce; ensuring that daily activities are aligned with Corporate Strategic Initiatives; and, managing all aspects of Human Resource issues, safety, employee relations, training, morale, business review, and safety meetings for local employees. Position also coordinates with internal and external customers, local and state officials, and trade allies to ensure that customers’ needs are consistently met in a safe, timely, and profitable manner; ensures that all NCUC, DOT, and company standards are followed consistently as we perform emergency response, main and service installation, and other regulated duties in order to provide and maintain a safe and reliable system; and supervises/coordinates the daily activities of Construction and Maintenance Department employees, contractor crews, and operations assistants. In addition, position is responsible for scheduling maintenance and repair of company vehicles and facilities; resolving customer inquiries and complaints about PSNC Energy regulated and non-regulated construction work; answering technical questions for internal and external customers; and developing, reviewing and monitoring local budget.
