Assist in designing and developing user interfaces using modern HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React). Write and execute unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and performance of web applications. Work closely with other engineers to create sustainable and scalable web solutions. Designed and developed a dashboard where users can download their own personal wearable data from fitbit, garmin, oura, dexcom, etc using python and the wearable's API.

My role as a computer science intern at Scripps Research in Karbstein Lab was to take public anonymous human cancerous and noncancerous mRNA data and make algorithms in Python to splice the large data in order to visualize how different mutations in certain genomes affect the survivorship of the cancerous cells. All of the algorithms used were written in python. I was also first introduced to Unix, which was used in order to submit my programs through the San Diego Supercomputer Center because the data sets were so large.
