Responsible for marketing/selling mutual funds to financial advisors throughout Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia; recruited to Hartford Funds in 2015 to initiate coverage in an underperforming territory.Focus firms include Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, UBS, Deutsche, and RBC Wealth Management.Created and successfully implemented a consultative-driven sales strategy focused on generating new business and client retention through one-on-one meetings, entertainment functions, value-add presentations/investment seminars, community outreach, and referral based prospecting. Effectively determine goals, position solutions and close business across all firms.Partner and manage relationships with centers of influence, sales managers, office managers and financial advisors; collaborate with internal wholesaling partner focused on servicing the top 125+ financial advisors throughout territory.Achievements and success:Rank top 10 in fixed income product sales and top 10 in new producers out of 58 Advisor Consultants nationally.Took over a non-producing territory, increased territory growth of $2.3 million to $11 million p/m in sales – 110% of goal.
