Thomas joined FINRA to utilize his unique set of skills and expertise in market structure, risk management, and compliance. He currently conducts cross-market surveillance and analyzes equity and option activity that may violate federal security laws. Prior to FINRA, Thomas was a Managing Director with a global multi-strategy hedge fund where he gained valuable experience in portfolio management, capital raising, and risk mitigation.  Thomas launched and managed a global credit fund where he excelled in capital raising. He gained valuable private equity skills when appointed to Foreign Board positions that successfully integrated strategic investments in manufacturing, textiles, and real estate assets. He previously worked in global fixed income, foreign exchange, and derivatives sales and trading at CBA in New York. Prior to joining CBA, he obtained valuable trading and sales experience with Bankers Trust in Australia.   Successfully passed Series 3, 7, and 24 exams.Guest Lecturer California Polytechnic State University - Cal Poly 2022
