Taking minutes for professional meetings when required. Ensuring that the children allocated to the social workers in my unit are being seen regularly. Acting as the first point of contact for parents of the children allocated to our unit. Gathering and analysing statistics and information to help the unit change and adapt to new practices and ways of working.I ensure the smooth running of our unit and make sure the children and families allocated to us receive the best service possible.

Regularly running on and off-site backups of all files on our server.• Working closely with all our suppliers including Scuba Diving equipment, Scientific equipment, printing companies, technical support, overseas couriers and insurance providers.• Regularly evaluating our relationships with suppliers and establishing new relationships which benefit the company.

We were in a very remote area of Africa and this made maintaining stock levels a very arduous and, at times, impossible task. • I learned a lot from my time in Medjumbe; my management and organisational skills benefitted greatly from working so closely with people and trying to solve the many problems Medjumbe faced.
