As Adjunct Professor of Business Law, Thomas Strachan is responsible for developing engaging lesson plans and lectures, preparing, administering and grading exams and other course materials, and understanding and addressing students' needs. Strachan is also responsible for reviewing and improving syllabi and ensuring relevant learning resources are available to students. Strachan serves as an Adjunct Professor for the University of Houston System in the following areas: Business Law: analysis and review of business contracts, regulatory, statutory and administrative law, dispute resolution, employment law, intentional and business torts, business ethics and social responsibility.Business Ethics: review and analysis of ethics in business, including comprehensive review of ethical theories and corporate social responsibility.Commercial Law: review of UCC and laws governing sales, warranties, credit transactions, negotiable instruments, corporations and partnerships.As the region’s largest provider of comprehensive university services, from the baccalaureate to the doctorate, the University of Houston System plays an essential role in meeting the higher education needs of the Houston metropolitan area and Texas.
