I am pursuing a Master of Science degree in Meteorology at Florida State University. I am currently employed by Florida State as a graduate teaching assistant, where I am an instructor of MET 1010L: Introduction to Meteorology Laboratory. I also serve as the FSU Department of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Science's lead teaching assistant for all meteorology laboratories. Additionally, I am the intern for the State Meteorological Support Unit of the Florida Division of Emergency Management. I graduated Magna Cum Laude as an E.C. Scholar and member of the Honors College from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Atmospheric Science in May 2015. At ECU, I was selected as a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Hollings Scholar, and I completed my Hollings Internship at the Pacific ENSO Applications Climate Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Also in 2013, I spent a three months studying abroad in Italy. After obtaining my Master's degree, I hope to work for the National Weather Service or an airline as a meteorologist.
