Q: Tell us about you:A: “For the past 20 years I’ve owned a B2B marketing company with the primary focus on in-person marketing at trade shows and corporate conventions. Among other things, I managed my clients’ messaging and designed exhibit spaces to support their sales and branding objectives. Often I would travel as part of the team and to help manage the event. It was a lot of fun.”Q: So what does that mean for your clients?:A: “It’s an experience that allowed me to work with a wide range of companies across a wide range of industries. Having worked with some very talented people, I’d say one of the most valuable skills I’ve learned during that time is how to take a complex, and often a substantive message and make it simple. Basically that’s what it comes down to and I love the challenge of doing it.”Q: And what’s the deal with ‘That Tom Guy’?A: “ I pride myself on being a problem solver. Often at events when a unexpected situation presented itself, someone would say “get that Tom guy!”.
