Provide leadership for a team of health educators across multiple health sciences education topics to deliver health science education both on-site and across the State of North Carolina. I taught college algebra and statistics to college students through a blended (both online and face-to-face) content delivery format.

I provided online mathematics instruction for long-term suspended students in Wake County through the Second Chance with Online Resource Education (SCORE) program. I developed and implemented course content utilizing a synchronous instruction platform and multiple web-based resources. I taught Algebra 1 with Technology, Algebra 2, and Analytic Geometry/Trigonometry. As lead teacher for Algebra 1 with Technology, I met with Algebra 1 teachers regularly to provide support and curriculum resources as well as pacing guidance. I provided demonstrations in data gathering for algebra labs along with other activities as well as served by providing peer evaluations for my colleagues. I served as Character Education Coordinator for Fuquay Varina High School.

Participated in leadership for Gov. Hunt's Support Our Students (SOS) Afterschool Programs for the State of North Carolina SOS grantees.

I taught algebra and trigonometry to high school students. I also managed a very successful afterschool program for high school students.

I began as an instructor in this national model afterschool program for high school students. I became the site coordinator for the program developing partnerships with various community-based, faith-based, and governmental organizations to provide services for our youth who are at-risk of dropping out and/or engaging in unhealthy risk behaviors. The success of this program has been celebrated in a number of state and national venues. I serve as an advocate for middle and high school afterschool programs and for quality services for ALL youth. I continue to regularly present at conferences regarding quality programming, program implementation, and community partnerships.

In this capacity, I planned youth activities and coordinated large events with other area churches.I planned and taught lessons for middle and high school youth at GCC.
