My passion in filmmaking helps me understand how to use different lens to understand a problem, lighting techniques to reveal important details, sound design to provide clear communication, and editing techniques to tailor to audiences' expectations. At Assumption University, I learned the importance of authenticity, ethics, and collaboration. I studied economics and psychology to understand how we make decisions, and what information and questions are necessary to inspire change within ourselves and in others. My shadow-degree was in Film, as I directed my university's TV program and several film projects. Since college I have filmed over 50 weddings, and other videos in different genres (e.g., Editorials, Lifestyle, Promos). With an interest in healthcare and technology, I pursued a job at MEDITECH implementing electronic health record, patient portal, and analytical solutions across several hospitals in the United States. It was a humbling experience meeting passionate, hardworking healthcare professionals in multiple states, and learning the impact of digitizing healthcare information.Next, I strived to be part of new, cutting-edge technologies and solutions to improve healthcare. I joined a growing healthcare consulting company focused on collecting and synthesizing healthcare data to improve hospital operations and patient quality. Through this experience, I learned the art and science of driving change with analytics, as well as the growing pains of building teams and scaling operations.
