Warehouse Associate
CurrentI started in the Shipping Dept., picking orders, and helping to ship tires. The M.H.E.I used was a walkie rider, and order picker and hand scanner regularly. After 8 months in the Shipping Dept., I was moved to the receiving department. There I learned how to unload trucks, scan incoming items, sort tires, how to read thescanner for proper put away procedure and how to properly put them in the correct location in the warehouse. Currently I’m one of two associates regularly in receiving, and I help maintain a clean, safe environment for a more efficient work routine. I help in coordinating the day to day planning of duties in the receiving dept. I also do some scheduling of appointments, regularly do replenishment's, sign off on the trucks paperwork and do the end of day reports.
