As a Plant Systems & Network Administrator, I was responsible for ensuring appropriate availability, performance and recovery operations for the Manufacturing and Warehousing infrastructure within any / all of the 100+ locations at ConAgra Foods. I collaborated with location specific customers as well as IT associates to determine technology requirements, installation and configuration of hardware, software, and upgrading of technology. I took initiative to assist my peers, customers, and suppliers to best understand, on a basic level, how to utilize their technology to the best of their ability. The projects that I was assigned were all successfully implemented under cost and in time.

I had opportunities every day with user training, troubleshooting, hardware replacement, software configurations and installations, backup and recovery processes, etc. Also, I led leading the drive to move into document management and eliminated the boxes and boxes of paper records that were created daily and made them available electronically.

I was brought into MacDonalds Industrial Products to build and grow their entire IT infrastructure. In the early days of my employment there, they had a few computers in a few different locations, separate phone systems in each of the manufacturing locations, and no connectivity between them. I built the entire WAN and LAN networks, designed and configured all servers, and consolidated the separate phone systems into a single, efficient operating solution. Bringing all of the locations together helped lower the cost of IT operations while improving the connectivity, speed, and functionality.

I was in charge of assisting in software installation and end use support for the Medical Manager program that Beene Garter LLP was reselling at the time. I helped to create scripts and trained end users on operations of the system.

At Louis Padnos Iron & Metal, I was responsible for all IT responsibilities including help desk, IT administration, daily backups, software installation and maintenance, phone system administration and any other daily needs and concerns.
