Tymber is an e-commerce engine that integrates with POS systems in the US and Canada providing customizable solutions in online sales and marketing for physical stores.Main achievements:- Helped the engineering team to design and implement features like: scheduled orders, push and email notifications, campaigns, store syncs and several others;- Helped spotting and fixing critical performance bottlenecks and instabilities in the operational database;- Worked on the infrastructure and scaling plan for 420;- Made the processing of syncs between Tymber and POS more robust by introducing mechanisms to control the concurrency level and avoid race conditions;- Designed and implemented the data ingestion, queries and dashboards for BI.Tech stack:Elixir, Phoenix, REST, JSON:API, Postgres, Docker, Heroku, CloudFlare.

BePretty is one of the first appointment scheduling marketplace platforms for the beauty industry in Latin America. Over time the platform evolved to also offer ERP and e-commerce solutions for salons, barber shops, spas and distributors.Main achievements:- At BePretty they were about to face lots of challenges that I had already tackled at my previous company, so I saw huge potential for delivering value, even not being used to their tech stack (Python and Django);- Helped the engineering team to design and implement several features: appointment scheduling, inventory, accountancy, last-mile deliveries, shopping carts/orders and several others;- Built a full-featured booking integration with Google (as a partner), called [Reserve with Google](https://www.google.com/maps/reserve/);- Moved our backend applications from Heroku to Kubernetes (GCP), which translated to 40% savings in infrastructure costs;- Worked on a complete infrastructure migration between two different clouds (GCP to AWS) within a couple of hours thanks to Docker and Kubernetes;- Helped bringing best practices to the team's daily workflow: async communication; detailing tasks/issues recording valuable information throughout the development process; improved workflow with pull requests and code reviews.Tech stack:Python, Django, Elixir, Plug, REST, JSON, Redis, Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP.

Beauty Date is a SaaS with CRM and ERP solutions for business in the beauty service industry.
