With over 28 years of experience as an Engineering, Project, and Commissioning Manager, I have successfully managed and delivered projects of various size and complexity in many regions around the world. My recent mining project experience includes Deep Yellow's Tumas Uranium Project in Namibia and restarting the Nullagine Gold Operation with Novo Resources. Other major projects include Commissioning Management on Freeport McMoRan’s Cerro Verde Copper Concentrator Expansion Project in Peru, Engineering Manager on Rio Tinto's Simandou Project in Guinea and Lead Bulk Materials Handling Engineer on the Rio Tinto / Ivanhoe Oyu Tolgoi Project in Mongolia. I have experience in managing all phases of project life cycles, from initial planning to detailed design to final handover and operational support. My work in the oil and gas industry includes an Area Manager role on the Tengiz Chevroil (TCO, Chevron) Future Growth Project in Kazakhstan and engineering manager for Woodside Karratha Gas Plant maintenance program. Other industries where I have experience include alumina refining, pipelines, underground operations, coal handling and diamond processing. I also enjoy outdoor adventure and family life with two great kids.
