With over 15 years of diversified experience in the Aerospace/Avionics manufacturing industry, I possess an excellent understanding of quality management systems, processes/procedures, and their importance in a successful work environment. I am well versed in leading and participating in internal, external and vendor audits and the use of quality tools necessary to promote a culture of quality. I have substantial experience in reviewing and approving high-level documents and making real-time quality decisions. I have experience in writing and editing standard operating procedures and documented control practices. As a Lead Auditor and Quality Engineer, I possess knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third party audits of management systems against the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015, in accordance with the guidance given in the ISO19011 for first and second party audits as well as the requirements of the ISO17021 for third party audits. Additionally, I am a certified NAVSEA Basic Paint Inspector (NBPI) responsible for quality control inspection of marine surface preparation and coatings systems to ensure adherence to NAVSEA Standard Item 009-32, SSPC systems and specifications and safety, health and environmental compliance.
