Intern Of Software Design, Functionality, And Quality Assurance
During my internship at TESDA, I engaged in the critical task of actualizing the company's innovative vision within the realm of electronic system design automation. My role was pivotal in advancing the TESDA Explorer Suite, a cutting-edge software application developed using the versatile Qt framework. I was entrusted with the responsibility of enhancing the software's core functionalities, focusing on automating SoC verification processes which are notoriously complex and resource-intensive.My contributions were aimed at streamlining the workflow by integrating a centralized knowledge base into the application, thereby facilitating smoother knowledge sharing and collaboration across the enterprise. I employed my programming acumen to refine the features of AutoDV within the suite, such as automatic SoC parsing, drag-and-drop transactor attachments, and efficient generation of verification platforms. This not only accelerated the test bench generation for each design revision but also markedly condensed the verification cycles from several weeks or months down to just days or weeks.The efficiency gains from my work were not just a measure of time saved but also an enhancement of the accuracy and consistency of the verification results due to the unified framework of the platform. By tailoring the Qt application to better serve the intricate needs of SoC level verification and rapid generation of various verification platform versions, I contributed to equipping TESDA with a powerful tool that promises higher efficiency and quality in verification outcomes, ensuring the success of the company's projects. My tenure as an intern was a period of prolific development and a testament to the synergy between software innovation and practical application in the high-tech industry.
