Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of market leading brands across multiple sectors.As regional Sales and Marketing Director for the Outdoor and Recreation division I held full P&L and budget responsibility for key leading brands including Coleman, Esky, Marmot and Contigo.Reporting into the the APAC President (Japan) I was responsible for driving both top line and bottom line growth, leading the local Sales, Product and Marketing teams, overseeing key marketing and market segmentation strategy across all brands as well as new product launches and initiatives across all major retail sectors in the Australian market including e-commerce.During my tenure I played a key role in leading the business through a significant change project resulting in the divestiture of several brands (fishing), warehouse move, shift to a shared service platform leveraging local scale across division as well as significant organisational resize and consolidation of brands.

Gather key consumer insights that drive NPD. Develop, deliver and represent a product range that fulfils consumer needs, wants and desires across the Asia Pacific region (comprising Australia, New Zealand, China, SE Asia and the Pacific Islands). Manage the brand by generating and executing marketing strategies that convey compelling consumer stories that help drive sell through. The role requires an ability to influence and engage Global counterparts, external stakeholders and varied functions of the local business particularly Sales, Operations and Finance.
