Passionate about sport and the positive impact it makes on communities, especially when utilised as a tool for development, empowerment, and education.Relocated to the South Pacific and commenced as CEO of the Vanuatu Cricket Association in April 2021 to help the VCA champion the spirit of cricket throughout Vanuatu, while promoting the country (and its cricket!) to the world.Whether it's strategy design, team building/people development, operational/financial oversight, stakeholder management, or a flair for innovative marketing, commercial and media initiatives, I've built a strong suite of transferrable skills in more than two decades across the insurance and sporting worlds.In 2015, my life sprang an additional branch; my two years as CEO of Cricket Hong Kong ignited a passion for the sport outside its traditional centres. I've gone on to consult to boards and events around the world and appear as an expert on the emerging game for various mastheads, shows, and podcasts.In 2018, I founded Emerging Cricket, a volunteer-powered collective that provides independent coverage of Associate cricket and beyond, with a mission to inspire passion to grow the game.To confirm EC's standing as the leading voice of Associate cricket, we produced weekly 'Global Game' columns for the ICC, and I was invited to be part of the nominations committee and for the ICC Awards of the Decade in 2020, appearing on the panel for the winners announcements show.My twenty years of insurance experience started in marine claims and then underwriting, and from 2008 it was spent broking internationally from Australia and Hong Kong; covering key account management, leading/building teams and operational projects within the marine market, and for two years from April 2019, in construction back in Australia.
