I participated in a Design and Operability Review for the Low Activity Waste Facility at the Hanford site for the US Department of Energy. At the conclusion of the design and operability review, I was selected to continue reviews for the Pretreatment Facility, and to perform formal assessments for the the US Department of Energy on the Waste Treatment Plant prime contractor's (Bechtel National Incorporated) engineering efforts to support Facility completion, start up and commissioning.

I worked as a Contract Engineer through Aerotek Engineering. The job in house at the time was installing a Heat Recovery Steam Generator and Steam Turbine to create a combined cycle plant with the existing simple cycle combustion turbine generator. My duties were to perform calculations and begin a component / valve data base. I also coordinated the fire protection design for the combined cycle plant.

I was the Engineer for Lees-Bradner. Lees-Bradner is a small machine tool company emerging from bankruptcy. The first two weeks in January I worked in the field in Guelph, Ontario, Canada overhauling a hobber and bringing it back into production. I was let go due to lack of work when new work did not develop.

I was a Nuclear Power Instructor and a certified diesel mechanic.Experience in the operation of complex, interacting systems.
