Mr. Feehan is currently a Project Manager with Tetra Tech EC, with experience providing field data collection, technical writing, project management and subject matter expertise in the area of marine fisheries to Federal and State Agencies and commercial clients. His principal responsibilities have been to provide project management for wind development (on and offshore) projects and technical and scientific writing support for Tetra Tech’s efforts in producing Draft Environmental Impact Statements for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Current projects under review by FERC include offshore LNG deepwater ports and onshore LNG pipelines. In addition, he has recently supported deepwater LNG ports, on and offshore wind parks and other power generation projects. Mr. Feehan acted as the Project Management Support Officer for Perot Systems Government Services. Projects included support for clients such as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Northeast and Southeast Region and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. Mr. Feehan has participated in numerous research projects involving field research on commercial fishing vessels and scientific research vessels from Florida to Maine, focused on the selective efficiency of commercial fishing gear, population dynamics, distribution and behavior of commercially fished species. He has coordinated and conducted numerous research SCUBA dives, surface vessel support, and small research vessel operations focussing on lobster abundance estimates and population impact assessments, as well as site selection and monitoring of artificial reefs, created as part of a lobster habitat restoration project, all in response to oil spills in RI. Additionally, he has experience in zooplankton field collection techniques and taxonomy and was involved in plankton collection projects using various plankton net types, focusing on plankton, larval lobster and Cancer crab distributions and transport.
