In my role at Teagle Machinery Ltd I am heavily involved in the testing and development of prototype machinery for the agricultural sector. Testing includes operating prototype machinery and evaluating its performance. Development work includes working with the design team to solve machine limitations and improve performance as well as hands on involvement in fabricating, assembling and modifying prototypes. I'm fortunate enough to work within various sectors of the company, from the design engineers to the workshop technicians as well as liaising with potential end users and farmers.

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at MWH Global I was tasked to do engineering calculations, liaison with clients and contractors, do site visits and document and archive documents. Most of the projects I worked on revolved around waste water treatment or industrial heating of buildings.Some notable projects I had the pleasure of working on included the Lower Seletar waste water treatment plant in Doha, Qatar and the University of Canterbury coal fired boiler PLC upgrade.
