Greater San Diego Area

I started with Tudor Publishing Company where my first role was providing telephone technical support of our software applications and Internet services to our customers. From there I moved toward providing desktop, server, and network support internally for the company. This included maintenance, support and administration of primarily Windows based PC's and servers, enterprise networks and applications, wireless devices and technologies, and enterprise telephone systems. The company changed its name to EdVision Corporation and was eventually acquired by Scantron Corporation in 2002. My role with Scantron expanded to include support of many more remote users and multiple office locations. Sometime later, I accepted a new position focusing on Scantron's Internet products and services. In this position, I work closely with our application and content development teams to maintain, support and administrate the web, application and clustered SQL servers, enterprise firewalls, load balancers and network devices required to provide our Internet services. This includes multiple corporate web sites, multiple survey products and technologies and our flagship student assessment solutions.

Greater San Diego Area

Initially part time, my duties included receptionist, telephone operator, cashier, and patient admissions. I eventually accepted a full time position as the swing shift telephone operator then transferred to full time patient admissions. I worked directly with the nursing, medical and other administrative staff to document and provide for patient care, insurance billing, visitor relations, and a variety of other patient services.
