Programme Lead in Health Protection within the Department of Public Health. My role has focused on testing during the Covid-19 pandemic and I now lead on a wider scope of our health protection work including air quality, emergency response planning, and suicide response.

Project manager on the Manchester PPE Mutual Aid Hub, part of the city’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic, delivering emergency PPE to the out of hospital care sector. Prior to the pandemic, my work included management of various public health projects as part of the Population Health Team, in partnership with Manchester NHS CCG. Specifically: reducing infant mortality; improvements to infant feeding; suicide prevention; and lead for air quality improvement.
