Full-stack: Progress OpenEdge (Back-end) & Angular (Front-end)

- Developed Test framework (in Java) to execute and automate Regression and Integration Tests.- Set-up CI/CD environment using Jenkins, Jira and Zephyr, and later Bamboo.- Created web-based Recordings Library (as side project) using JPA (Java Persistence API), Java REST Web Services, Hibernate, MySQL, JavaScript and jQuery.- Used Oracle VirtualBox to virtualize many of our complex hardware and software environments for easier use by developers and testers.

- Member of small start-up developing a mobile One-Time Password (OTP) app.- Created a test framework using vTask, Tesseract OCR, ImageMagick and mobile phone simulator.- Created a customized boot menu for our openSuse-based Linux install CD.

- Reported on export opportunities to the EU for small and emerging farmers.- Completed the CBI Market Intel VII training seminar in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

- Created and maintained the Department's website and Intranet.- Published more than 100 information packs for small and emerging farmers (provided in 3 languages: Afrikaans, English and Xhosa).

- Taught Internet Journalism to journalism students.- Created MatieWeb, an online community website featuring news reports written by students from the Journalism Department. Also taught students how to upload their news stories.- Presented an Internet Journalism workshop for business journalists on behalf of SAGUS (Centre for Afrikaans Usage at the University of Stellenbosch).
