In 2002, I realised I should bring something different to the hospitality and food-and-beverage sectors. My own experience in hospitality and interior design convinced me that a designer’s responsibility went beyond interior design. Driven by this belief, I created Blacksheep - A groundbreaking design studio that partners with brands around the world to create powerful and meaningful hospitality and leisure guest experiences. Outside of the studio, I am honoured to have had the opportunity to share my creative thought leadership with the wider design community by speaking at events such as IHIF Berlin, Peach 2020, The Sleeper Event, To the Table, BIID Conference and have participated on broadcast shows such as BBC Radio, Monocle Radio, The Fixer with Alex Polizzi, Mary Queen of Shops, Mary Portas and Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares. I am particularly passionate about providing mentorship to designers by assisting with their personal development inside and outside of the studio, alongside working with various schools, colleges, universities and organisations to help champion the next generation of creative talent. I’m currently participating in the Twenty/Twenty DBA mentorship scheme and helping out at London Metropolitan University.
