Calibration Technician Ii
CurrentPerform calibration of measurements and test equipment used in the plant. - Performe quality work by following defined departmental procedures and process documentation. - Actively participate in the identification of ways to improve quality, safety, total cost, and customer satisfaction measures for department. - Performe calibration of torque tools and dimensional gauges (i.e. Torque wrenches, Micrometer, calipers, tape measures) used to manufacture product. - Performe routine maintenance and repair of tools and gauges. - Maintain complete and accurate records of calibration results. - Performecalibration of basic electronic instruments (i.e. hand held meters) - Maintain the housekeeping level in keeping with a high precision calibration environment. - Utilize maintenance management systems (Maximo) and procurement system (Ariba) to submit work orders and order parts for the department. - Develope and document calibration methods and procedures- Provide training on the use of measurement devices. - Maintain traceability of lab calibration standards by scheduling internal and external calibrations and ensured they were performed in a timely manner.
