20+ years of leadership experience:- British Army Officer (Royal Engineers) including a year at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, 7 months in Iraq, an attempt at the Commando course which ended in injury, 4 months in Belize, and two years as the Adjutant of 1 Royal School of Military Engineering- Operational leader with Barclays Bank leading 300+ FTE, following two years on their highly selective global Operations Executive MBA program at Canary Wharf, London. I also chaired the complaints executive committee for the UK Retail Bank.- Consulting partner working across Australia, Asia and the US, after building and training a team to deliver operational transformation / productivity engagements. Currently the lead for the ‘Operations Transformation’ Practice within Consulting for a team of ~150 FTE.Travelled extensively throughout Europe, Zambia, South Africa and Mexico and spent several months living in India (Bangalore) completing research work at the Indian Institute of Science, which was later published. I currently live in Melbourne with my wife and three daughters.A passionate sailor with 25 years of experience, I am a qualified Coastal Skipper and keelboat instructor, completed the 2022 Melbourne to Hobart yacht race, the 2024 Marley Point overnight race, and enjoy sailing / racing in Port Phillip Bay. I am the Vice Commodore for Mordialloc Motor Yacht Club.
