Together with Maison Kitsune co-founder, Masaya Kuroki, I helped to bring the idea for their Cafe Kitsune brand into a reality.While based in London I traveled to Paris regularly to work with the Maison Kitsune team and their architects to launch the first Cafe Kitsune store on the Palais Royale. Advising on store design, equipment purchases and installation, smallwares we created a cafe experience sympathetic to the historic location, while a clear extension of the Maison Kitsune brand. To serve as the backbone of the experience, I created and developed the first Cafe Kitsune espresso blend to an exacting request; classic and satisfying, while looking to future.To launch, I developed a series of in-store processes and guides, and conducted an extensive hiring drive to find the right candidate to lead the customer experience.Today, Cafe Kitsune is a significant pillar of the Maison Kitsune brand, with 18 locations from Paris to New York to Seoul and beyond.
