Main responsibilities of this role are to ensure that formal testing strategies and best practices are applied to the UAT of Fidelity's main line of business systems. This is a broad scope, including approximately 50 systems and technology tiers, across multiple mutual fund products (ISAs, SIPPs, General Investment Accounts, Workplace Investing and Brokerage). Other responsibilities include:Oversight over the testing and implementation of Fidelity's Web and Retail Application Systems change portfolio (in excess of $10m annual budget)Collaboratively working with key business stakeholders (up to Managing Director level) to plan out and control all testing activities up to and including production release of new system enhancements.Creation & ongoing management of 2 acceptance test teams, one in UK and one in India (45 perm, flexed with contractors as demand required). Building relationships with trusted outsourced companies to provide contract headcount enabling us to quickly respond to the resourcing requirements of last minute business critical initiatives.Identifying and implementing end to end test best practices and supporting governance to support the global testing activities at FIL. Implementing TMM to monitor progress of testing maturity within the organisation, providing a road map for future enhancements within the testing process.Implementing test automation processes within the web tier (using selenium and cucumber) to handle continuous regression testing during release cycles.Acting as a Subject Matter Expert between Operational Groups and IT groups on testing related items.Mediating and resolving issues caused by conflicting changes arising from the Ops, Propositions and Technology groups during the testing lifecycle.As team manager, also being responsible for the general day to day management of resources and team development.

Offshore Broker Services were responsible for the set-up and maintenance of Offshore Intermediaries and the processing of commission payments. The accurate and timely completion of offshore commission runsMaintaining the special terms offered to brokers for their charges and commissions.Resolution of broker related queriesUser Acceptance testing of new systems or updated releases of current systems.
