Project Manager for Northwestern Lake Forest Campus Revitalization Project, a $475 million program, which includes a 162 acre campus redevelopment with a 114 bed full replacement hospital, an attached medical office building, central energy plant expansion, support service building, and numerous civil infrastructure projects. Responsible for the day to day communication with hospital administration and corporate leadership; coordinates with operations and maintenance staff, contractors, design professionals, consultants, clinical users, and regulatory agencies. In addition to all aspects of direct project management develop routine and strategic capital project budgets and schedules; assist Facility Planning and Construction Department in process improvement and standards development; provides internal and external team assistance with contract and logistical support with routine and emergency maintenance projects

Provide project management of design, specifications, drawings, appropriations, contractor selection, work coordination and start up, as well as the integration of appropriate consulting services; Execute capital projects to be completed on schedule and within budget by tracking project commitments and expenditures of offsite facilities, new campus projects, and master plan related projects; Oversees the daily activities of design and construction and serves as the liaison with project contractors, architects, engineers and suppliers not limited to furniture, medical equipment, campus signage, and information systems.

Responsible for the theater-wide Foreign Excess Real Property (FERP) Program; ensures Title X real property is disposed of in accordance with United States laws and DOD regulations; liaises with 6 Regional Commands to advise, assist, and ensure compliance with United States Army Central (USARCENT) and United States Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A) SOPs; trains subject matter experts from each of the Regional Commands; processes Regional Command's FERP packets, submits for USARCENT approval and to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) acceptance via the US Embassy.

Engineering NCOIC for United States Forces-Afghanistan (USFOR-A), Detachment West, Joint Engineers Liason responsible for engineering and construction support to US Forces in Regional Command West (RC-W); oversees construction tracking and reporting; coordinates with base engineers to generate, review, and validate Title 10 construction projects via the Joint Facility Utilization Board (JFUB); assists Engineering OIC as subject matter expert in construction and contract management; facilitates US base closure / transfer coordination throughout the RC; provides general consruction expertise and support.

Contracting Officer Representative responsible for contract administration; held pre-construction and safety conferences, prepared contract modifications, prepared and approved progress payments, submittal management, project surveillance, encouraged and facilitated expeditious construction completion, assessed contractor performance, and prepared contract closeout documentation. Provided expertise and responded to inquiries to resolving constructability concerns; served as an advisor and trainer to elements of GRD in matters relating to general construction practices, Construction Quality Management, Resident Management System and the Construction Contractor Appraisal Support System. Developed and implemented the Quality Assurance Plan; visited project sites to verify compliance with QA Plan.

Performed building maintenance, restorative improvements and landscaping for residential, commercial and agricultural buildings. Oversaw all facets of dairy, field, and equipment operations to include management, maintenance and animal well being.

Managed day to day activities of subcontractors; ordered and scheduled deliveries of materials while ensuring production remained on schedule; maintained the highest quality of home construction through thorough visual inspections of all phases of production; identified deficiencies and ensured that they were rectified immediately; assisted in maintaining a clean and accident free construction site by adhering to the safety guidelines of Neumann Homes and other regulating agencies

Prepared job site for application of insulating material and aided in the application of the blown cellulose material

Assisted in the tearing off of existing roofing systems and the replacement of new roofing systems. Performed site clean-up and area beautification

Ensured all Scopes of Work and correspondences were included in over 100 project files. Maintained tracking charts for designers and project managers. Assisted in preparing Scopes of Work and Bill of Materials for over 50 projects
