InteriorsMy sense of design and color is an extension of my painting. I have more than 20 years of design experience in residential and commercial design, including contemporary apartments, 8,000 square foot homes, and 25,000 square foot offices. I have a comfort level working with a broad range of projects. My goal is to assist clients in achieving their own style and vision with a balance of my own aesthetic.StructuresSteelehouse is the design/build arm of Tim Steele Design with a focus on container based structures. Since 2009 we have designed and built homes in Upstate New York where the industrial look and feel of the containers are a contrast to the natural landscape yet reflect the vernacular of industrial farm buildings. As early innovators in a trend that is growing worldwide, we are currently exploring residential and commercial structures for urban locations as well as producing prototype modular homes based on 1, 2 and 4 containers. ArtMy work is an ongoing series exploring the intersection of abstract painting, collage and sculpture. I've taken the approach of "building" paintings out of panels and expanded them into three dimensions. They are comprised of joined and layered panels, and cut out brush strokes arranged in relief projecting from the wall. The perimeter of each piece varies, resolving itself into a square, rectangle or an irregular shape.Specialties: - Artist- Interior Designer- Container House Design and Build
