About Tim Weber

Bertrand Russell said, "The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge." I strive to live so my actions reflect this and compatible modes of thinking. I naturally enjoy any exploration of knowledge, and I find purpose in work I believe provides utilitarian benefit and produces as little harm as is possible in the pursuit of this benefit. My education and my hobbies are a function of my interests. I have a degree in geology with coursework including calculus III, organic chemistry, physics, anatomy and physiology, and human growth and development. In my free time, I enjoy reading philosophy, studying logic, hiking, nature viewing, and stargazing. My work history is a function of my concern for the world. I work as a paraeducator at North Star Elementary School, a Title 1 school that provides free breakfast and lunch to a diverse population of students in Thornton, Colorado. I also work as a tutor for first-time, low-income, or disabled students at the Community College of Aurora in the subjects of biology and anatomy/biology. I am drawn to these efforts, as I have been convinced of their benefit to any group the integrity of which necessitates the wellbeing of any given individual.I seek to combine my curiosity and utilitarian concerns with efforts to always improve, so that I may not inadvertently step on any another, and so that I stand to benefit as many as I can. I am fortunate to live in an age in which individuals can communicate with such ease. I am also under the impression we are now facing changes and challenges which command our highest quality efforts of thought and action. It is my belief we may circumvent barriers and elevate the human experience beyond the levels of the past and the present. If your overarching intention is to elevate the human experience without producing a level of waste or harm that is intended or otherwise that would work to eliminate the human experience and all other examples of the only known collective occurrence of biological experience in the known universe, then I would like to serve with you towards this end.
