Flavour Makers is a leading manufacturer specializing in dry blend ingredients, thermally processed foods, and cold-fill shelf-stable products. We produce items for both private labels and branded portfolios. As the GM of Quality, I oversee a large Quality team across multiple locations and am responsible for overall quality and food safety at our sites. I also take a lead role the company’s Sustainability strategy, establishing targets, measures, and reporting as we work towards absolute reduction in emissions.

Murray River Organics, Australia's largest organic wholesale and ingredients company, is listed on the ASX. As a key member of the Executive leadership team, I was accountable for overseeing food safety and quality across our farming, primary production, and manufacturing operations. I took a leading role in the organisation’s turnaround strategy, transitioning from a retail private label focus to a branded portfolio. Within a year, we successfully launched the Murray River Organics brand across four categories in major Australian retailers, alongside a thriving ingredients business covering most food ingredient categories.Managing over 2000 hectares of farmland, I led our farming teams in best practices for farm operations, crop nutrition, and protection. I also directed the development and implementation of a custom farm management application for enhanced planning and reporting. Notably, I led a project that resulted in the successful cultivation of Australia's first commercial organic hemp crop.

As Quality Assurance Manager at a leading Australian ready meals manufacturer and flight catering facility, I was responsible for overseeing all quality and food safety aspects of the site, including the high-care retail packing area. I ensured adherence to GMP standards and validated the site’s HACCP plan to ensure food safety. I led the sites compliance with WQA, SQF, and CFMSR

In my role as Food Technologist at Organix Brands Ltd, a Hero Group company and the UK’s leading organic baby food provider, I worked with third-party manufacturing sites across Europe, the USA, and Turkey to ensure compliance with Hero Group Technical standards. I set and monitored KPIs through monthly reports, quarterly reviews, and annual audits, and attended trials and first productions to ensure quality standards and product specifications were met.I was part of the team that secured Chinese organic certification for several new multi-ingredient products, making Organix the first UK company to achieve this certification. This achievement led to an invitation from the UK government’s DEFRA to join a trade delegation to China to discuss future organic certification collaborations

As Quality Assurance Team Manager at an BRC certified organic dairy facility producing bottled milk and yogurts for major retailers like Waitrose and Co-Op, I was responsible for Quality and Food Safety standards daily. I played a leading role in the technical department, ensuring the highest quality standards for finished products. I liaised with packaging and raw material suppliers to resolve production issues and managed the QA team.
