I am a Health Economist, Research Statistician, and the Director of the Data and Decision Science Program at the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM). I also am an Adjunct Professor at Bentley University where I teach Business Statistics.I received a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut in 2019, and an M.B.A. and M.A. from Old Dominion University in 2013.I am an Applied Microeconomist who uses empirical methodology to find causal relationships using survey, administrative, and experimental data. At USARIEM, I use these empirical tools to study the impact of policies and interventions on the performance and health of Soldiers and Warfighters.My research aims to understand how economic policies and interventions affect the behavior and well-being of individuals, households, and communities. I use data analysis, analytical skills, and statistical software, such as Stata and R, to conduct rigorous and relevant empirical studies. I have published my findings in peer-reviewed journals such as the American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Applied Physiology, and the Journal of Housing Economics.
