Developed the estimating software WinEst for the Motiva project. Responsible for all estimates starting with FED , control baseline and final. Created estimates for all change orders. Worked with customers to develop technical specifications and optimizations.

Helped develop and further refine the estimating process for the company. Developed new software to assist in estimating construction projects for the company.

Responsible for the start up of a new branch for the company. This includes office space, warehouse and hiring of key personnel.Responsible for all estimating duties for the branch including schedule updates and invoicing.Managed the hiring of personnel for the office and the field.Worked closely with the corporate office on all financial and facility issues.Project Manager for various lump sum and T&M projects at Citgo, Conoco, Olin, Firestone and Westlake.Project Manager for the Nelson CoGen facility in Lake Charles which included the estimating phase all the way through completion and final billing.

In charge of the operations on-site for the rebuild of the Amerada Hess Refinery in St. Croix after damage from Hurricane Hugo. Work included Scaffolding, Asbestos Abatement and Insulation work for the entire refinery.Orchestrated the movement of airplane shipments of scaffolding and supplies from all over the US to St. Croix.Coordinated activities for work crews up to 500 men in the field. Responsible for reconciling all invoices with the customer, insurance adjusters and auditors.Due to lack of facilities on the island, I was responsible for coordinating medical facilities in Miami for any medical emergency, including air transport to and from Miami.Helped set up the relationships with Amerada Hess to continue a maintenance contract for the next several years.

Planned, scheduled and procured the insulation work for the expansion of an Ethylene unit.Estimated the rework of the construction activities for the rebuild of a fire damaged unit.Coordinated with the customer on a daily basis on all work activities and supervised accounting and payroll.

Involved in planning and scheduling insulation construction work.Worked closely with the client on every project insuring materials were requisitioned and all permits were in place to safely do the job.Estimated, planned and scheduled maintenance activities at Shell Wood River Refinery, IL for a crew up to 100 men.Involved in dealing with Union labor agreements.Received OSHA training and performed Jobsite Safety audits.

Involved in planning and scheduling insulation construction; QA/QC for the Appendix R insulation systems in the facility.Returned for the first outage at the River Bend facility working to schedule work crews with Quality control and Radiation control. Supervised crews inside containment areas to minimize risk of exposure.
