In this role I was a part of the 24x7 SOC team, which provided security services for leveraged clients. As part of this role I utilised multiple SIEMs including ArcSight, Azure Sentinel and Splunk ES to investigate and respond to cyber security alerts. As a member of a 24x7 team, I also acted as a point of contact for all cyber security related issues during out of office hours, which involves procuring on-call resources as necessary to respond to emerging issues during these times. On top of the above workload, I also acted in a shift lead capacity, which required additional responsibilities. These extra responsibilities included mentoring my fellow SOC analysts and assisting them with investigations, as well as taking on additional work such as ticket reviews and monthly reporting.

This role involved selecting parts that meet customer requirements, arranging their delivery, and associated administrative tasks.During my most recent employment in this role I was given additional responsibilities, including but not limited to inventory management (processing incoming inventory and stocktakes as required), limited sales processing (customer sales and returns), as well as order fulfilment.

This role involved upgrading office phone handsets, and the corresponding tasks associated with the management and carry out of this task; whilst simultaneously minimizing disruption to the ongoing business, and the employees involved.
