About Timothy Carroll

Tim is a highly experienced and respected executive and mentor with first class communication skills and a strong track record in International Trade and export. He has lived and worked in global markets with a focus on Asia, Healthcare and Research and international education.Tim recently founded the glo project (www.gloproject.community) program that matches international students into startup businesses with a focus on cultural competence. Experienced in developing effective globalisation strategies with robust economic analyses in a wide range of industry sectors including healthcare, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, animal health, agriculture and food sciences.With a long career at CSL, one of Australia's largest and most successful biotherapeutics companies which operates a global business and produces blood plasma products, vaccines and pharmaceuticals. While in this role he resided in Singapore for a 2-year period from 2006 to 2008 as a travel base for global market development work with a focus on Asia. Tim developed and delivered innovative new products to global markets which helped solve serious global healthcare problems. Tim has also operated his own consulting firm and managed La Trobe University's intellectual property portfolio and Knowledge Transfer Office.
