As a partner at Sidley Austin LLP, I lead the corporate immigration practice group, serving a diverse and global clientele. With over 28 years of experience in immigration law, I have developed a deep understanding of the complex and dynamic legal and regulatory environment, as well as the business and human needs of our clients.My practice covers a wide range of work visas, as well as green card and citizenship applications, for individuals and corporations. I also advise and assist clients on immigration issues related to mergers and other corporate changes, and help them develop sensible immigration policies and practices to manage risk associated with hiring foreign national employees. In addition, I am a regular speaker at legal and industry conferences, sharing my insights and best practices on immigration topics. In 2002, I served as the Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Chicago Chapter. My mission is to provide high-quality, responsive, and ethical immigration services to our clients, and to advocate for a fair and humane immigration system.
