Developing and producing physics education videos for the Revision Village website to help International Baccalaureate (IB) students with their learning. This includes:• creating comprehensive and engaging 10 minute key concept videos on a range of topics for the Revision Village YouTube channel;• creating model solution videos for IB past paper questions.

Developed physics content for topics in international secondary school curricula (years 7-13) on the Nagwa learning platform. This has included:• creating interactive presentations in a broad range of physics and maths topics for the Nagwa Classes app to cover syllabuses in Egypt middle school and high school exams, and AP Maths;• researching, illustrating, and narrating 15 to 18 minute lesson videos, and 40+ shorter question solution videos;• creating extended pieces of text (explainers) to act as the instructional element of a lesson;• writing and peer reviewing exam solutions for 500+ exam questions;• creating mock exam questions with a range of difficulty levels for exams such as the US ACT Test, JEE, and the 11+ exam.

• My area of research involved the generation of high-resolution weather simulations of rainfall events in the UK using the WRF Model, and these simulations were compared with radar observations and Met Office Unified Model simulations of the same date.• I attended and presented my research at various meteorology conventions which allowed me to network and collaborate with fellow researchers. In addition, I attended several data science conventions which involved fast-paced team-working exercises and presentations with subject experts.

• As part of my teaching, I was awarded the status of Associate Fellow of The Higher Education Academy in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education.• I have taught in a number of undergraduate and graduate level modules across the Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering departments.1st year courses: CS131 Mathematics for Computer Scientists II, CS133 Professional Skills, PX129 Tutorial (Physics Examples Classes).2nd year courses: PX271 Physics Skills (Electronics Labs).• These modules involved me supervising two groups of 30 students; one group as the Lead Demonstrator, and one group as the Assistant Demonstrator.• As the Lead Demonstrator, I was responsible for marking weekly assignments, providing constructive feedback for the assignments, and designing lesson plans that would address common mistakes made by students. I would lead lessons and provide guidance to students on an individual or small group basis to cater for different learning styles.• As the Assistant Demonstrator, I would establish the learning objectives set out by the Lead Demonstrator for that group, and provide assistance to the Lead Demonstrator throughout the lesson. • In addition to this, I would meet with fellow demonstrators on a weekly basis where we would discuss common issues faced by students in the assignments and discuss our lesson plans.4th year courses: ES441 Advanced Fluid Dynamics, LF903 Quantitative Skills for System Biology, MA4H7 Atmospheric Dynamics.• I was the sole Teaching Assistant for these graduate level modules, and I would liaise with the lecturer for each course to discuss the content that would be covered in these problems classes. • Lessons were delivered to groups of 10-15 students. I made class notes available online on Moodle, and ensured any outstanding questions from each lesson would be reviewed by email or by the next class.

• Showcased and promoted upcoming Nintendo products at conventions and large trade shows (such as EGX and Insomnia Gaming Festival) to a variety of consumers, journalists and industry stakeholders.• Communicated controls and aims of the various games on the show floor to consumers of all ages. A proud achievement of mine was co-founding Warwick Nintendo Society in January 2017.Having been elected as President of Warwick Nintendo Society during its first year as an official society in the Warwick Students’ Union (SU), it was my responsibility to oversee and co-ordinate all aspects of its operations. My responsibilities included:• Managed and led a team of five exec members by chairing committee meetings, delegating relevant tasks, and ensuring tasks are completed by the deadlines set.• Working with the Treasurer to apply for a budget from the SU and purchasing equipment for use at society events.• Working with the Publicity Officer to design the society logo, roller banner and promotional material.• Arranging and coordinating two weekly events for 30+ members.• Promoting the society at university open days, society fairs, and online using social media (Facebook, Twitter, Discord and YouTube).• During my time as president, membership had increased to over 100 society members during its first year which ensured its status as a society in the Warwick SU.• I worked closely with new incoming exec members to ensure a smooth handover transition, and the continuation and expansion of the society.• As such, I developed many skills in leadership, project management, organisation, problem solving, decision making, communication, team work, time management, people management, delegating in a professional manner.

• Organised and provided tour guides around campus to multiple groups of 5-8 prospective students. Adapted the tours by listening to students’ requests and prioritising the places on campus that they were most interested in.

• Responsible for communicating issues experienced by 4th year Mathematics and Physics students and negotiating solutions to resolve these issues.

• 8 week research project on optical readout technology development in the Elementary Particle Physics group as part of the Undergraduate Research Support Scheme (URSS). The project involved making circuit boards, refining the experimental setup, learning programming languages C & Python, and the software ROOT for data analysis. • Helped to run a seminar series; involved organising a schedule for when students give their presentations, and purchasing food and drink for the seminars. Gained a lot of experience working in a research environment, improving on analytical and problem solving skills.
