Simultaneously performed previous Specialist role for existing system, in conjunction with teaming on automating reports, moving Essbase to AIX platform, and planning and forecasting in multi-year upgrade of the Financial systems. Reported to Solutions Architect Leaders. Collaborated in supporting Business Objects Planning and Forecasting system (SRC), with four planning methods in three currencies requiring 1000+ different Excel workbooks: assessed requirements; developed, implemented, and provided 24/7 support during forecasting cycles. Implemented independently the Essbase 9x on AIX per Infrastructure initiative, moving all batch processing from Windows to AIX: and involving seven key shared utility programs and the migration of 250+ cubes. Automated with team, the financial reports (10K/10Q) into Business Objects, thus eliminating the users need to manually recreate reports for each cycle.

Responsible for reducing expenses by taking advantage of latest version of Essbase in conjunction with complying with new Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations. Led reduction of 20 Windows 2000 servers to five servers using Essbase version 7.1.3 without affecting performance to the 300+ cubes: combined 13 cubes into two, using ASO structure with remaining BSO cubes re-optimized, reducing space and improving performance. Chosen by Infrastructure to troubleshoot the development for ensuring 30+ applications were compliant within a two week window on a high-profile Corporate Sarbanes-Oxley project. Solved and implemented the new SOX regulations to not allow developers access to production data: creating development environment, VB programs for production processing, and procedures without exceptions which led to 100% compliant.

Chosen for team of 16 Developers from Department of 800+ to be onsite at nationwide Branches as users were upgraded to Windows XP, and to troubleshoot application issues and provide personal assistance. Continued support of Essbase and Financial Reporting.Troubleshot for all applications at Branches during Company implementations of Windows XP, minimizing users’ downtime in learning new operating system. Installed, upgraded and supported the Wired for OLAP from v0.97 (AppSource) through the renamed Java version Hyperion Analyzer v7.2: first on Microsoft IIs; then Netscape iPlanet; and finally WebSphere Application Server. Managed all Windows 3.51 to Windows 2000 servers' hardware/software installations, minimizing database downtime for 40+ current year databases and 300+ past year's databases on 20 servers.

Member of large development team for completing the financial migration from Mainframe systems to multi tier PeopleSoft Financial Suite installation. Assumed additional project responsibilities as needed. Created solution allowing users 24/7 access to Essbase for meeting financial yearly (10k), quarterly (10q), and monthly reporting requirements by producing up to 1200 incremental cube updates. Selected by Manager, as Subject Matter Expert for the Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Enterprise, as well as primary and second level support for 1000+ Essbase and Hyperion Analyzer users: This was both infrastructure of 20 Windows 3.51 and Help Desk. Completed all system documentation and coding necessary to place PeopleSoft Financial Suite into production through Production Quality Review and Quality Assurance Testing processes. Assumed project; and delivered customized Expense Planning system after vendor backed out of contract: Completed with consultants, the Visual Basic programs and new Essbase v3.7 system in eight weeks with minimal impact to business's Expense Planning time-line.

Developed data tracking system through project life cycle. Maintained production control systems: PC and Mainframe.

Supported two systems: teamed on implementation of regulation laws affecting the printing of policies and audits for a multi-billion dollar Commercial Lines and Workers Compensation policy; and solely maintained in-house written policy issuance system for National Accounts Commercial Insurance with premiums over $1M.
