I am native of the Midwest growing up in Des Moines, Iowa and my professional career has focused on higher education facilities operations and construction. Over the past 20 years working at Arizona State University, I have advanced from an entry level position to my current role as the Vice President of Facilities Development and Management. My primary professional focus is implementing university initiatives and developing future professionals to lead the industry. I embrace servant leadership and rely on the diverse talents to make a stronger team. My current professional interests include promoting careers opportunities in the skilled trades and leadership positions in facilities maintenance and construction. Additionally, I'm interested in methods to incorporate technology and artificial intelligence into the built environment (analytics, advanced estimating, automation, recapitalization, communication, etc.).
