Employed by the national children’s charity KidsOut, I was tasked with launching, developing and managing a media/arts provision for vulnerable and marginalised young people in Wolverhampton. The project was funded via a Big Lottery Award and it was my responsibility to manage the project over a 3-year period by forging links with schools, the local authority and local community. Due to the success of the project, once the funding ceased in 2010, I was able to independently continue with the project and this became The Switch Project in 2010.
