Tim started his career developing and writing software progressing into Project Management, Sales Management and Product Management. Tim worked within the banking industry when the industry started developing online real-time systems and was involved in a number of projects developing online ATM systems for major banks. With such a well established technical background he soon progressed into consultancy and ran a pre-sales technical consulting team before moving into sales and sales management. Tim worked for NCR Financial Solutions Scotland as a Senior Product Manager and headed up a team developing strategic products for the North American market, later progressing into the Advanced Concepts group looking at new emerging technologies that will impact consumers and the banking industry. During this time, Tim was instrumental in the filing of 4 patents. Since 2005 he has worked for several distributors in the IT Security sector covering UTM/Firewalls, E-mail Security, wireless technologies, authentication, ADC/load balancing, web caching/acceleration, HSMs, a variety of encryption technologies, Web Application Firewalls and DDoS mitigation services.
