Provides support, trouble shooting, repairs and replacement for end user computer hardware and peripherals. Performs diagnostics, installations, removals and relocation's of hardware and software. Builds tables, establishes screen access per user account printing and SHC standardized device software standards as appropriate. Plans, tests, executes, and evaluates new system requests and small end user device projects that issue new computer installations, upgrades and maintenance services.& Coordinates system/application upgrades, hot fixes, and consults with other applications support personnel as needed and as it relates to physician practice computing technology, business applications and infrastructure projects. Assists SHC end users, physician practice, both SHC internal and community practices in the day-to-day support of end user devices in their offices, whether it is SHC or end user owned equipment. Functions as a liaison between SHC and the user community to implement procedures and documentation of changes to the production environment. Participates in the planning, implementation, and training of new applications or upgrades as requested. Provides after-hours, on-call support as scheduled. Maintains documentation for support problems and resolutions as required.Adheres to PC imaging standards, instructs and guides the installation of access software, like Citric agents, and coordinates with LAN Engineers and System Administrators regarding imaging standards and support functions.Participates in on call support beyond regularly scheduled hours. Participates in weekend rotation to affect Saturday and Sunday coverage.

Operate computer and peripheral equipment to test and execute routine / scheduled processes such as report printing, tape processing and production processing. Provide first level support for users reporting problems and/or requesting services. Obtain information from users, analyzes issue, assists user with troubleshooting procedures and resolves problem. If unable to resolve, escalate problem report to second-level support. Direct users to appropriate support or data center personnel as necessary. Monitor and take corrective action regarding environmental equipment (HVAC, power plant, generator). The department supports 300+ applications hosted on multiple operating system platforms.

Duties included were to provide hardware and software desktop support to clients at remote sites as well as over the phone. Fix PC performance problems, support users email; Outlook and Thunderbird. Add system memory, hard drives, and CPU’s. Perform computer installs with multiple monitors on desktop PC’s as well as Laptops. Solve client’s virus and malware irradiation issues.
