• I guide and assist the student journalists at Emerald Media Group to help them produce great journalism that attracts attention and helps implement change. I work with all publications of the media group, a nonprofit.
• Working directly with the editors-in-chief, desk editors and staff to provide advice and support to produce top-quality journalism and provide them with the skills they need after graduation to succeed as professionals.
• Critiquing editions to acknowledge good work and identify areas of improvement with the goal of bettering the organization and the student journalists in it.

• Organizing and leading the newsroom's annual Leadership Boot Camp to provide training in leadership to students interested in serving as editors-in-chief and desk editors for the coming year.
