I joined at the beginning of development for Lawn Mowing Simulator VR, which was releasedin March 2024. The game targeted Quest 2, and was developed with Unity. Throughout theyear of development, I was in charge of the majority of the codebase, and also had to relay any information from the development team to management.

After MelodyVR/Napster I freelanced for a government funded local project. The aim of the project was to digitally capture the people of the town, and present their digital selves in AR. We used an AR company called Zappar to create this, utilising both their proprietary editor, as well as their Unity SDK. We targeted WebGL so it was as accessible as possible, without the need to download an app. The people were captured using current generation iPad Pros with LiDAR. We had to develop an internal workflow to make this work, which I was a key part of developing. We also 3D printed every person who got scanned, and had a big exhibition at the end where they were all on display, and people could collect their 3D printed self.

During my time at MelodyVR, I worked on developing immersive music experiences in VR while experimenting with other emerging technologies. We experimented with volumetric video in 2019 and 2020 and made two experiences with the bands Kid Kapichi and Nova Twins. In late 2020 MelodyVR acquired and rebranded as Napster. While at Napster I implemented a new VR video player called TiledMedia into our existing infrastructure, allowing for 8K+ resolution VR video. Finally, I worked on an interactive music experience for The Who, using the track Pinball Wizard.

I volunteered part time at the Hastings Game Studio, where I was the chief programmer on one of their projects. I was tasked with managing the Unity project, designing and developing all of the C# code, importing assets from the artist and sound engineer, and managing the project using Microsoft Azure.
